Starting Early!
I am guessing with the mildness of the winter, Lagoon has made the oh so wise decision to open a lot earlier than they usually open. I am so glad we got our passes last month so we can start going when they open at the end of the month and get full use of the extra like 5 weeks they are giving us! We are getting far too excited for it because we know that once Lagoon opens, school ending and summer starting is that much closer! We are having a fun filled weekend and we are really excited for it.
Jack and I have been taking full advantage of this weather. He asked me one day a couple weeks ago if we could take lunch out and have a picnic, so we went out and we LOVED basking in the warm beautiful sunshine. We decided to keep it up for all the days that are nice enough to go out and I have gotten a sunburn already.
We are going to do more camping this year than we have in the past couple years. A few friends want to go to camping, and my parents are coming out to visit and camp so we are going to make good use of our property this year. Hopefully we can make it camping in Moab. Its just tentative now but hopefully we will get to planning it soon lol.
Patrick has decided he doesn't really like playing sports anymore, but really wants to go to museums and learn more science stuff like he did last year in Oregon, so we are going to try and go to dinosaur and other kid science museums we can find around. We have done a few science experiments and he loves them. I love that he found something he is really interested in and is good at.
Jackson still does nothing but talks about when he can start playing football. We still have a couple years yet until we cross that bridge, but he is a really fast runner and does really good with tackling and is getting the basics from some of Patrick's friends who have played for a few years.
Spring break is next week! We don't have a whole lot planned for it as of now but are in need of a couple days off. It's not as long as it usually is but getting out in May is so worth the short break! Gotta run to work for now but have a great first day of spring!
