Life is good!!

Things have been really crazy lately but life is good! That is something we say every day. I finally received my cosmetology license and am currently looking for employment. The boys and I moved into a really nice house in Clearfield and are quickly making it a home. This winter has been very mild which has helped a lot. We haven't really been able to do much but move lately. We were able to make a snowman and enjoy it for 2 days before it melted. Jackson and Patrick really loved making it.

Patrick is doing so well in school. He is reading at a 5th grade reading level and loves the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. I think we have read the whole series through twice already! I don't know what I am going to do when he is in jr high and high school and needs answers to questions I just don't know the answers to. He is a very smart motivated child.

Jackson is now 19 months old and is EVERYWHERE! He loves to color with both hands hasn't really decided which he wants to use over the other. He can have a conversation with you with little speaking. He is a very tough kid. He loves to wrestle around on the floor with Patrick and loves taking walks in the wagon around the block. He loves dogs, cats, and pretty much any animal that he comes in contact with. I see many trips to the zoo in our future!

Patrick had his first sleepover at the "new" house last weekend and had so much fun. He hasn't been able to spend a lot of time with his uncles and grandparents lately so we decided to call and see if Gabe could spend the night. The boys got to rent a movie and make their beds in front of the tv watching their movie and eating popcorn. They were SO good and you could tell they really missed being around eachother. I hope there will be many more sleep overs to come in their future.

So I have been trying to lose weight for a while now and with everything that has been going on I have managed to lose 35 lbs and fit back into my high school clothes without looking I had to have a wrestling match with them to get them on. They slide right on and button with ease :) The shirts even look really good and I am not having to have tanks under the shirts because the shirts are a titch small. I only have about 20 lbs to go before I am back around my high school weight. Not too shabby if you ask me!

Well I guess that's the updates for this time. Look back for more updates and welcome any comments or suggestions on anything that sounds like fun this summer. Feel free to contact me for play dates or just plain get together shoot the fat!

  1. So happy to see another update on your blog!!

Glad you and the kids are getting settled. Patrick's sleep-over sounds like it went well. Very happy they're able to spend some time together.

Good luck with the job hunting.
